The Centennial Jubilee Campaign is more than a fundraising initiative—it is a bold, strategic investment in the future of the Sisters of Social Service. As we celebrate one hundred years of transformative ministry, we look ahead with renewed purpose, ensuring that the mission of faith-filled leadership, compassionate service, and advocacy for peace and justice continues to flourish for generations to come.

For one hundred years, the Sisters have transformed lives by responding to immediate human needs while addressing the systemic causes of poverty and injustice. Today, the challenges facing our communities are greater than ever. Economic inequality, housing insecurity, forced migration, environmental degradation, and growing social division call for the same courageous spirit that has guided the Sisters for generations.

The Centennial Jubilee Campaign will strengthen the Sisters’ ability to respond to today’s greatest challenges while preparing for those yet to come. The campaign focuses on three enduring priorities that will strengthen lives, transform communities, and ensure that the mission of the Sisters of Social Service continues well into its second century.

Expanding Mission & Community Impact

Every day, the Sisters accompany individuals and families through ministries that provide compassionate care, spiritual guidance, education, advocacy, and community leadership. Inspired by Margaret’s Pyramid, our work begins with direct service, expands through community organizing, and ultimately seeks to influence systems and public policy for lasting change. Campaign support will strengthen and expand these ministries so that more lives can be transformed through faith in action.

Sustaining the Sisters and Their Mission

The vitality of our mission depends upon vibrant religious life, thoughtful formation, faithful stewardship, and strong lay partnerships. Campaign support will help cultivate future vocations, care for our retired Sisters, strengthen the Social Service Auxiliary and Associates, preserve our Motherhouse campus, and ensure that the Sisters continue to respond with courage and compassion wherever they are needed most.
